Flowers are very important in the celebration of Swedish Midsummer. On Midsummer’s Eve everyone makes flower crowns to wear in their hair. A tradition says that if you pick seven different flowers from seven different fields on Midsummer’s Eve and place them under your pillow, you will dream about your true love. I wanted to make a flower decoration that wouldn’t wither in a couple of days. This origami flower wreath is made of paper and will last forever!
Simple plastic bottles and a pair of scissors are all you need to make your garden bloom!
Matte paint can transform the most common of bottles into a stunningly gorgeous bud vase. Use chalky and grayish pastels to get a lovely and sophisticated look. We love to use paints from Farrow & Ball.
