You will need:
Newsprint to help with the mess
flat black matte craft paint
plastic animals
paintbrush
white pins
metal snips
hot glue gun
black sharpie
  1. Spread out some newspaper and paint your plastic animals with a coat of flat matte black paint. Allow to dry completely and then cover with a second coat of paint and allow to dry completely.
  2. Take white pushpins and cut the heads off with snips. Hot glue the pin-heads onto the animals.
  3. Use a black sharpie to draw in funny pupils. The animals tend to look a bit sinister if you leave off the pupils... but who knows... maybe you like that sort of thing?!

TIP:

You could also use googly eyes!
