This time I give you a really beautiful craft idea. These are snow flakes make of egg whites and sugar. Make such a pretty ornament for your tree. They can be eaten, but they are pretty hard, so I would use them more for decor. Great as a little gift as well, almost look like a little jewel.

Makes about 60
2 egg whites
4-5 cups of powdered sugar
small silver dragees
  1. Place the egg whites and powdered sugar in a food processor and beat it on hight speed for 10 minutes.
  2. The mixture should be very thick. If it is not thick enough, add more powdered sugar.
  3. Fill the mixture in a piping bag with a thin tip.
  4. Make a snow flake template in the size you want them to be.
  5. Put the template on a table and put wax paper on top.
  6. Follow the template and pipe on all the lines. Make sure the lines are not too thin, as the snow flakes will break very easy.
  7. Sprinkle with sugar and decorate with the silver dragees.
  8. Let the snowflakes set for 48 hours. I know it's a long time, but trust me.
  9. Lift them very carefully of the wax paper.
  10. If you want to hang then on your tree just tie a thin thread to the snowflakes.
