Nothing's better than clean, simple food in the Summer -- And it sure doesn't get any simpler then this!

Serves 4

6 large heirloom tomatoes

1 large fresh mozzarella

24 basil leaves, just torn up

extra virgin olive oil (best quality)



  1. 1.Cut up the tomatoes, some sliced and some in wedges, it looks nice mixed this way on a plate.
  2. Break up the mozzarella with your hands and place that with the tomatoes on a big serving platter.
  3. Add the basil.
  4. Drizzle with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
