Lightly breaded fried mixed seafood is one of my favorite meals... oysters, shrimp, and calamari!!

Serves 4

You will need:
6 cups vegetable oil
2 cups flour
1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined, tail-on
1 pound small squid, cleaned, bodies sliced into rings
12 oysters, shucked
1 lemon, very thinly sliced
2 tablespoons salt
2 lemons, cut into wedges
  1. Heat oil in a large pot until it reaches 350 F.
  2. Toss seafood and lemon slices in flour and dust off excess.
  3. Working in batches, fry until golden and cooked.
  4. Transfer to paper towel baking sheet with a slotted spoon and immediately sprinkle with salt
  5. Serve with lemon wedges.
