6 cups vegetable oil
2 cups flour
1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined, tail-on
1 pound small squid, cleaned, bodies sliced into rings
12 oysters, shucked
1 lemon, very thinly sliced
2 tablespoons salt
2 lemons, cut into wedges
- Heat oil in a large pot until it reaches 350 F.
- Toss seafood and lemon slices in flour and dust off excess.
- Working in batches, fry until golden and cooked.
- Transfer to paper towel baking sheet with a slotted spoon and immediately sprinkle with salt
- Serve with lemon wedges.
