SERVES 4

You will need:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon agave syrup
1/4 tablespoon soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 pound shishito peppers, washed and dried
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  1. Preheat oven to 440oF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, and agave. Stir in garlic.
  3. Toss peppers in the marinade.
  4. Place peppers on the prepared baking sheet, and bake for about 10 minutes until charred.
  5. Arrange on a platter, and sprinkle with red pepper flakes.

TIP:

Watch out, one in ten can be really spicy!
