Makes about 1 Quart

You will need:
8 egg yolks
11⁄3 cups sugar
2 cups milk
2 cups raspberries
2 cups cream
  1. Place eggs and sugar in a saucepan. Mix it well as you increase temperature over low heat.
  2. Add milk and stir the mixture until it thickens. This takes about 10 minutes. Don’t let it boil.
  3. Set aside to cool completely in the refridgerator.
  4. Add raspberries and cream.
  5. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze
  6. Serve on sugar cones with crushed meringue.
