A vodka cocktail flavored with fresh lavender simple syrup and homemade sugared lavender for garnish!
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
6 fresh untreated lavender stalks
For sugared lavender:
fresh untreated lavender
1 egg white
- Start with the lavender syrup.Place water, sugar and lavender in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Let it simmer for 10 minutes and cool. Strain the syrup.
- In a shaker filled with ice place 1 part syrup and 2 parts vodka and give it a good shake.
- Pour into glasses and serve.
- If you want to add the candied lavender you wash it first, dip it in egg whites that has been slightly beaten and dipped in sugar. Let them dry and they're ready to use.
