A hummus recipe from Capetown, South Africa!


You will need:
15 oz can of chickpeas, drained, rinsed
2 tablespoons tahini
juice of 1 lemon
4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil + more to serve
Maldon salt and black pepper, to taste
dukkah, to serve

  1. Blend all ingredients together with a hand-held blender, or in a food processor. If it is too thick, add a little ice cold water.
  2. Check seasoning.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil and dukkah to serve.
