A really fast and easy dessert. It almost makes itself.
1⁄2 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons butter
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Peel the pears and cut them in half.
- Place pears in an oven proof dish and pour on the maple syrup.
- Add butter.
- Bake for 10 minutes, turn them over and bake for another 10 minutes.
- Serve à la mode.
