12 small apples, washed, halved
1⁄2 cup apple cider vinegar
1⁄2 cup white vinegar
3 tablespoons light brown sugar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
2 cinnamon sticks
1⁄2 teaspoon all spice berries
3 bay leaves
- Bring all ingredients excluding the apples to a simmer until sugar dissolves.
- Add apples and simmer until you can pierce easily with a knife.
- Let cool.
- Refrigerate with liquid in an airtight container.
