Serves 8

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and add the pasta. Cook until al dente and drain.
  2. Use a vegetable peeler to make long, thin strips of asparagus.
  3. Place the pasta in a large bowl and add oil, lemon juice, capers, and asparagus.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Keep warm.
  6. Melt the butter in the pan and cook the bass about 2 minutes on each side.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Plate the pasta with the fish on top.
