Supremely comforting!

Makes about 2 cups

 

You will need:

 

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1⁄2 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon lemon juice

1⁄2 lb smoked trout, skin & bones remove

1⁄2 teaspoon old bay seasoning

1⁄2 teaspoon ground black pepper

saltine crackers for serving

  1. Mix together cream cheese, sour cream, and lemon juice until smooth.
  2. Add smoked trout and mix until some chunks of fish still remain.
  3. Carefully stir in seasoning and pepper and serve immediately with crackers.
