This is a great burger sauce, sweet, creamy and with a lot of kick! Serve with your favorite burger, on chicken or a juicy steak.
1 cup
1/2 yellow onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoonsJustin's Honey Peanut Butter
1 tablespoon ketchup
1-2 canned chipotle peppers (more or less all depending on how spicy you want it)
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
a few drops worcestershire sauce
salt to taste
- Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion until they are soft.
- Place all the ingredients, including the sautéed onions, in a food processor and blend until smooth.
- If the sauce seems to thick you can add a little water.
- Season with salt.
TIP:
Chipotle peppers can pack a lot of heat! I always like to start with a conservative ammount and then add more if I want the sauce a bit more spicy!
