Does your food need flavor? If so I have the right trick for you!

I always have a bottle of this flavored olive oil in my kitchen. It's a simple way to add deep flavor to salads, pizza, soups, and just about anything else you cook!  I like to make my own flavored oils because A) it's much cheaper, and B) I know exactly what's IN the oil and I can make sure I have exactly the flavor profile that I love!

You will need:

Clean glass bottle

1 TB cracked black peppercorns

1 sprig fresh rosemary

2 sprigs fresh time

2 TB dried garlic flakes or dried minced garlic

1 or 2 dried spicy chili peppers or 1 Tsp. red pepper flakes

2 cups best quality olive oil, I like cold pressed extra virgin

  1. Add all of the dry ingredients to your bottle.
  2. Fill the bottle with your good quality oil and leave it out a day or two.
  3. After a couple of days the oil will be ready to use, the longer you have it the deeper the flavor will get.
  4. You can refill the bottle with oil as you use it and I start from scratch about once every 2 months.

TIP:

Use the best quality olive oil you can find, it really makes a difference! Also, feel free to flavor your oil with whatever you want!
