Strawberry Salsa, Mango & Avocado Salsa, and Melon Salsa! presented by my friends at Fiesta Ware!


The only thing better than fruit salsa is three kinds of fruit salsa! I’ve always loved the zesty zip of fruit mixed with spicy jalapeños. When I was a boy in Norway jalapeños always seemed so exotic so they were of course one of my favorite ingredients to request from my Mormor!

For Strawberry Salsa:
1 pint strawberries, sliced thin
1 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
1/4 jalapeño pepper, finely chopped
Juice of 1/2 lime
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt & pepper

For Mango & Avocado Salsa:
1 ripe mango, finely chopped
1 ripe avocado, finely chopped
1/4 jalapeño pepper, finely chopped
Juice of 1/2 lime
2 tablespoons olive oil
salt

For Melon Salsa:
1 cup cubed honeydew melon
1 cup cubed watermelon
1/4 jalapeño pepper, finely chopped
Juice of 1/2 lime
2 tablespoons olive oil
Za'atar spice (optional)

  1. For each salsa, simply mix together all ingredients.
  2. Allow to rest at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  3. Serve with chips!
