You will need:
thick wool felt
scissors
6 point star template -download here
iron
hot glue gun
needle & thread

  1. Print out 4 templates and pin each one to a piece of felt.
  2. Cut out 4 stars of the same size.
  3. Fold each star in half and use the iron to press-in the fold.
  4. Hot glue the folded stars together at the folds so that it becomes a 3D star.
  5. Use needle and thread to make a loop to hang it.
