Nothing's better than clean, simple food in the Summer -- And it sure doesn't get any simpler then this!
Serves 4
6 large heirloom tomatoes
1 large fresh mozzarella
24 basil leaves, just torn up
extra virgin olive oil (best quality)
salt
pepper
- 1.Cut up the tomatoes, some sliced and some in wedges, it looks nice mixed this way on a plate.
- Break up the mozzarella with your hands and place that with the tomatoes on a big serving platter.
- Add the basil.
- Drizzle with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
