Easy Protein Bar with Almonds and Sunflower Seeds
Makes 10-12 bars
1 cup chunky peanut butter
4 tablespoons honey
½ cup almond milk
1 ¼ cups vanilla whey protein powder
Pinch of salt
2 cups rolled oats
¼ cup slivered almonds
¼ cup sunflower seeds
- In a pot, combine peanut butter, honey and almond milk. Stir until smooth.
- Add protein powder, salt and oats, mix well.
- Press mixture into a greased 8x8 pan.
- Place almonds and sunflower seeds in a pan and toast until golden.
- Sprinkle on top of the mixture and press into the pan.
- Cool for 2 hours before cutting into bars.
To store, wrap well and leave out at room temperature for up to 10 days.
