Make and bake small Christmas trees and grow a little forest for your guests’ glasses.
Makes about 30
- Preheat oven to 370°F.
- On a floured table, roll out the dough to a thin sheet.
- Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes.
- With a sharp knife, cut an opening to the edge of each cookie.
- Bake for 3–6 minutes, depending on the size and thickness.
- While the cookies are still warm, enlarge the openings a little.
- Let cool.
- Decorate with royal icing.
