I'm not the biggest fan of tomato sauces. I find them very often heavy and to sweet. And when they come with those huge meatballs on top......not my thing. Don't get me wrong, I love italian food, but there is just something about tomato sauces that I don't find that appetizing. So my take on the tomato sauce is quite simple. I heat up small tomatoes in the owen until they crack, mix them with freshly cooked pasta and ad herbs and parmesan. The dish is light, tasty and very easy to make.
