These are great to make for guests during the cooler seasons. The coconut oil really adds a wonderful extra level of flavor to them!
11⁄2 cups walnuts
1 teaspoon9 spice powder
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 tablespoons light brown sugar
- Toast walnuts in a small skillet over medium heat until golden brown about 4 minutes.
- Add the coconut oil and then toss in the spices to coat.
- Add the brown sugar and 2 tablespoons of water and cook until it thickens a bit, about 2–3 minutes.
- Take off heat, pour onto a sheet pan, spread out, and let cool.
